Modern is On…the Boards!

Oh, how times have changed. Back in October of 1996  Richard was quoted in D Magazine, “When you’re working on people’s houses, particularly in Dallas, Texas, you just don’t get too many clients who are willing to have their houses look like they’re pushing out the envelope of contemporary architectural design theory,” he says. “People don’t want to live in something that looks like that.” Entitled BUILDING A DESIGN TRADITION, the article began with the statement “Schooled in the postmodern, architect Richard Davis makes a name for himself as an interpreter of traditional design.” Sixteen years later, clients are requesting RDDA to design Modern and here are three we have on the boards right now.
